Fixed sights, dated 1937 on the chamber, with the "S/ 42" code on the toggle. "Eagle/ 63" proofs on the extension and barrel, with eagle firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock. Excluding magazine and grips, numbers match. "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" on the upper safety area and extractor, respectively, and a "GERMANY" export mark on the front of the frame. Checkered grips and nickel magazine with aluminum base.

Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing areas of mixed brown and gray patina and scattered dents. 70% of the original straw finish is present on the small parts. Grips are also very fine, with mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
