Ivory and brass bead sights on the vent rib, with the "E GRADE" markings, patent dates, address, "20 GA for 2 3/4" or shorter shells" and "SKEET" on the left side of the barrel along with a 5 1/2" decorative banner and scroll engraved wedge, and a 3 1/2" engraved wedge on the reverse. Hand engraved model markings and serial number on the receiver, which has scenes of hunting dogs on either side and scroll and vine engraving. Fitted with a select walnut stock, featuring sharp checkering on the forearm and pistol grip, Remington grip cap with Fleur de Lis designs, 13 3/4" pull and a ribbed Remington buttplate.

Near new, with only a few light handling marks overall. Engraving is well executed and sharp. The wood grain shows a fantastic grain pattern, worthy of the top Premier Grade stock. This is an excellent factory engraved Remington Model 11E that would be impossible to improve upon. From the James Tipton Collection.
