The Knick model trap gun was originally introduced in 1922. It features a high visibility red front sight and ivory bead mid-sight on a matte vent rib, 2 3/4" chamber, choke gauges at full with an ejector. The barrel is marked with the serial number along with "K1215" on the jeweled flat. The receiver is casehardened and features broad scroll engraving with rosettes and matte background, a gold inlaid pheasant scene on the left side and a gold inlaid woodcock scene on the right side. The lower rear sides of the barrel have a broad floral scroll engraved pattern. The bottom of the receiver is marked "MADE IN U.S.A. / ITHACA GUN Co / ITHACA, N.Y.". Mounted with a multi-point checkered nicely figured walnut forearm with a pistol grip stock featuring checkered flats, Fleur-de-lis checkered grip area, with scalloped lower border, smooth plastic grip cap, vented Ithaca recoil pad and gold initial oval. LOP 14 5/8".

Excellent. The barrel retains 99% original blue finish with some mild muzzle wear. The trigger guard retains 97% original blue finish with some thinning on the front. The action retains 90% original case colors with some fading to a smooth gray on the bottom. All of the gold inlay remains. The forearm has had a coat of varnish and overall the wood is excellent, with the exception of a few areas on the forearm where the varnish chipped off and was recoated, there are a few minor dings and dents overall, with crisp checkering. The engraving remains crisp. Mechanically excellent.
