Manufactured from 1926 to 1948. Dual ivory bead sights on a solid rib, 2 3/4" chambers, choked full/improved modified, ejectors. Casehardened floral scroll engraved box lock action with gold inlaid game bird scenes on the sides. Watertable marked "5" over "12" with the serial number and "PAT'D". Single trigger and tang mounted safety/selector. Nicely figured walnut pistol grip stock with Fleur-de Lis fine line checkering on the grip area, multi-point checkering on the stock flats and forearm, ebony insert on the forearm, grip cap, and vented Hawkins recoil pad. LOP: 14 1/8".

Excellent. The barrels retain 95% original blue finish thinning to a gray with some loss at the muzzles. The frame retains 98% original case colors. The revarnished wood is excellent with most of the varnish remaining and a few minor handling marks (couple pressure dents at end of forearm). Overall the re-cut checkering is crisp.
