Introduced in 1994 as the Type II Daytona, only about 80 of these shotguns are allocated to the U.S. every year. This shotgun comes with a set of O/U barrels and a single barrel. Both have matte high vent ribs with a single bead sight. The O/U are 32" in length with vented center rib, the barrels gauge at full/improved modified, 3" chambers, with ejectors. The top rear has a thin gold inlaid band. The single barrel is 34" in length, 3" chamber, screw-in chokes, ejector and numbered to another gun (1222). Each is marked with the address on the upper left side. The action has gold inlaid "DAYTONA" on each side and gold inlaid logo over "RENATO GAMBA" on the bottom. Removable trigger group, tang mounted manual safety, single trigger with selector and mounted with a checkered select walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with an adjustable Kick Eez recoil pad. Currently the length of pull is 14 3/8". Complete with a Gamba plastic case with padded lining, three combination locks, three choke tubes (imp. mod., full and modified), tool and papers.

Partially refinished the O/U barrels which retain 99% blue finish with a few small areas of pitting under the finish on the upper left side at the address. The single barrel is excellent with 99% original blue finish with some normal usage wear from the forearm. The action retain 100% original blue finish and all of the gold inlay remains. The wood is also excellent with only a few minor dings and handling marks, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with a few minor scuffs on the exterior and some light contact wear and stains on the lining.
