Description:

Extremely rare Dubuque, Iowa Pottery crock, less than five known to exist. Salt Glaze with a beautiful dark grey exterior with peach color spots and two small lug handles applied to the sides. A "3" is located near the top in free hand cobalt blue. Featuring a stencil of "Dubuque Pottery" with a design located below. The crock has a dark brown Albany slip glaze that has variations of golden yellow. Some flaking on of the glaze on the right side and back. H 10 3/4 W 10 3/4"

Condition is good with a chip on the right handle and some flaking of the glaze.
