Description:

Extremely rare twelve gallon salt glaze crock stamped with cobalt blue "12/S.E. Andrews/Mfg. Co./Lowell, Ill". This hand turned crock features a salt glaze exterior and a dark Albany slip glaze interior and two large applied handles. S.E. Andrews was in business in Lowell, circa 1880's.

The crock is in very good condition with a stain around the base.
