Stunning six gallon hand turned salt glaze churn impressed stamped "E.W. Farrington/Elmira N.Y./ 6" Cobalt blue has been rubbed into the impressed mark to accent the marking. A large cobalt blue bird is free hand decorated on the front sitting on foliage. Two fantastic incised decorated lug handles with cobalt blue accents are applied to the sides with small screw heads impressed in the handles. Albany slip glaze interior.

Very fine with minor glaze flaking on the front.
