Beautiful three gallon hand turned salt glaze crock with cobalt blue free hand decoration of foliage. A name is listed at the top in free hand form but is difficult to make out. The crock is dated "1869" in free hand cobalt blue. The interior of the crock is lined with Albany slip glaze. Two lug handles are applied to the sides and accented in cobalt blue. The crock is in very good condition with a chip on the rim. H 12 1/2" W 12 1/2"
