Great way to start a collection, two pieces of Galena Pottery from Galena, Illinois. Half gallon preserve jar with sage green background glaze with beautiful accents of golden spots. Wide mouth opening with a rib under the rim. Green button lid. The piece displays well with a few hairline cracks at the base, normal wear with minor chips on the rim. The lid has a few minor chips. One Gallon crock with a dark green base and gold speckled spots. Large rim with incised rib around the base of the rim. Some flaking of the glaze, minor chips and wear on the rim. Preserve Jar H 8 1/2" W 6", Crock H 8" W 7 3/4"
