Extremely rare New York stoneware two-gallon, ovoid jar with applied handles and tooled neck, decorated with a scroll design boarding the impressed maker mark stamped "C. CROLIUS / MANUFACTURER /NEW-YORK,". Clarkson Crolius, Sr., Manhattan, NY, circa 1810. Early Manhattan stoneware is rarely offered for sale. H 12" W 10"
