One of the finest liquor advertising Anna Pottery pig flasks in existence. Inscribed with beautiful cobalt blue writing "Thompson Wilson & Co./Distillers of Wholesale/ Kentucky Whiskeys/Paducah, Ky/ 1883. (Paducah, Kentucky is very close, approximately 50 miles from Anna, Illinois). Near the rear of the pig inscribed are the words "Dealers in" and a line pointing to the hogs butt. The salt glaze has a beautiful glossy coat with cobalt blue accenting the eyes. The right eye appears that is purposefully has a blue tear running down the check of the pig. It is no sure if this is intentional or simply a matter of what took place after it was applied.

The pig flask is in beautiful, excellent, totally original condition an has experienced a few issues during firing. On the right side of the pig is a small indentation with a hairline, near the rear of the pig is a kiln burn. The bottom of the pig demonstrates the beautiful Koalin clay used to make the flask.
