Description:

Early stoneware Albany glaze pig flask attributed to Wallace and Cornwall Kirkpatrick of Anna, IL, Circa 1860. The molded bottle has, holes in the ears a large snout, incised eyes and hooves, and unusual hand molded face.. On the side of the body is incised: " Good Old Bourbon/In A Hogs -" pointing to the rear of the pig. L 3 1/2", W 7", D 2 3/4.

Rating Definition:

The pig flask is in very good condition with exception of a portion of the lower ear lobe missing, chip in the snout, the tail has a piece missing and the right side area above the tail has what looks like clay/glue residue from an attempted repair.
