Description:

Assortment of three stoneware dog doorstops. Two appear to be from an Illinois maker believed to be Ripley, Illinois the third dog appears to be from Ohio. All pieces are unmarked. The chocolate brown glaze dog is hollow with a heavy weight to it. Good condition with a chip on the front foot. Second dog has a golden yellow color glaze and is accented with brown cobalt blue on the ears and a few spots on the back. The dog is hollow. Damage at the base. Third dog appears to be from the Ohio area made from creamy yellow clay and sits on a thin base. The dog has a dark Albany slip glaze exterior. All dogs are approximately 9" high and 6" wide.
