Dated 1940 on top of the chamber and marked "42" on the toggle. "Eagle/ 655" proofs appear on the barrel and extension, with "eagle/ swastika" firing proofs on the barrel, extension and breechblock. Excluding grips and magazine, numbers match. Checkered grips, and blue magazine with aluminum base.

Very fine as professionally refinished, showing 95% of the blue finish, with a brown patina on the front toggle link, bright edge wear, scattered handling marks, and pitting beneath the surface. Grips are fine replacements, with mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
