Chamber dated 1916 and DWM monogram marked on toggle, with three "crown/script" letter proofs on barrel extension and a Imperial Eagle firing proof on barrel and barrel extension. Properly marked safety position and extractor. Matching full or partial numbers on the pistol. Straw colored small parts, checkered walnut grips and non-matching nickel plated magazine with wood base (385). Complete with a 1916 dated Buhler holster. In addition to the maker's marking, "BAXIV" is stamped on the inside of the flap. A takedown tool is included.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The pistol retains 90% plus original blue finish with the side plate thinning to a brown and some mild thinning overall. There is limited light spotting and limited light pin point pitting on the barrel. The small parts retain 30% original straw color. Large chip of wood missing from magazine base. There is a minor chip missing from the left grip panel near the thumb safety, otherwise the grips are very fine with the exception of a few very minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine with some minor handling marks and some mild age cracking with an illegible name lightly scratched on front of the flap and missing pull string.
