This excellent quality Francotte revolver is nicely gold inlaid with decorative wire border and vine and leaf on the sides and top of the frame, back strap and cylinder flats. The top strap is marked "A. FRANCOTTE A LIEGE" in gold. The lower left side of the frame is marked with the serial number. The right side of the barrel flat and frame are marked with various Belgium proofmarks, and the rear face of the cylinder has a Liege and various other proof marks. Blade front and integral notch rear sight, safety mounted on the left side of the frame, folding trigger and fitted with smooth pearl grips. Complete with an unmarked brown leather flap holster.

Excellent. The revolver retains 95% original blue finish with scattered overall minor spotting, heaviest on the top, front and back straps. All of the gold inlay remains. The grips are also very fine with a few very minor dings and handling marks. The action is excellent. The holster is good with exception of a repaired stud and wear around the flap hole, some moderate flexing and some stitching absent from the belt loop.
