Manufactured in 1919. The left side of the slide is marked "PATENTED DEC. 19, 1905 / FEB. 14, 1911, AUG. 19, 1913. / COLT'S PT. F.A.MFG.CO." followed by the Ordnance bomb with the letter "S" on the bomb. The right side is marked "MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY", the right side of the frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" over the serial number and the "eagle head/S20" is marked on the left side of the frame above the magazine release. The top of the barrel chamber is marked "COLT 45 AUTO". Fixed sights, smooth trigger, checkered thumb safety and hammer spur with serrated slide stop, lanyard loop on the heel, Colt marked blue magazine and fitted with checkered walnut grips with diamond pattern around the screws.

Professionally restored to near mint condition. The grips are as new. The markings are highlighted in white and remain clear and crisp. Mechanically excellent.
