Description:

Produced as a Model 1922 MI, and later converted to MII which included installing an early NS, M2 bolt. The receiver ring has the standard M1 marking with the additional "l". The barrel is marked "SA / ordnance bomb / 3-29" and has been correctly drilled and tapped for scope blocks. Lyman globe front sight and Western receiver sight. Pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap, finger groove forearm, leather sling, and checkered steel buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Refinished. The rifle retains a trace of the blue finish (mostly on the floor plate and protected areas) with the balance a smooth brown patina with even minor spotting on the barrel. The modified, heavily sanded stock is fair with some scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
