Description:

Blade and ladder sights, with Springfield barrel dated "1-38", standard receiver markings. Mounted with a smooth stock with a boxed "S.A / S.P.G." cartouche on the left side, circled "P" in the grip area, "D1836" marked on the bottom, sling swivels, and checkered buttplate with compartment which contains a cleaning kit. The hand guard is marked "D28179". The bolt is a WWII replacement.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 95% slightly faded original parkerized finish remaining, showing some high edge wear and thinning on the bolt handle and trigger guard. The stock remains very fine with a small shallow gouge on the left side at the action and overall some scattered minor dents and dings. The cartouche is legible. The markings remain clear. The action is excellent.
