Manufactured in 1932. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address/ 1884, 1905 and 1926 patent dates, the left side is marked "COLT SHOOTING MASTER .38", the Rampant Colt is on the left side rear of the frame and the Colt "VP" triangle proof is marked on the lower left side directly above the trigger guard bow, with "3" at the rear. Elevation adjustable blade front and windage adjustable rear target sights, flat top frame, checkered grip straps, all blue finish with polished hammer sides and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions. Complete with the original green leatherette hinged lid Colt Shooting Master box with matching number handwritten on the inside.

Excellent. The revolver retains 95% original blue finish with some thinning and wear on the muzzle end of the barrel, high edge wear on the cylinder, heel and toe of the grip frame, and front of the frame, and overall some minor scratches. The grips are also excellent with some wear on the lower edges, a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent. The box is good with some corner wear and flaking of the leatherette cover. The interior shows some contact wear and light stains.
