Description:

Also called the "Kickup Model" pistol, manufactured between 1864 and 1876 with approximately 1,000 made. The pistol is marked "STEVENS & CO. VEST. POCKET. PISTOL/CHICOPEE FALLS MASS." on the top barrel flat, and features a German silver blade front sight, a notch in the hammer spur services as the rear sight, a tip up barrel and smooth odd shaped flared rosewood grips. The matching serial number is marked on frame under the grip and on the left side barrel flat, with the left grip panel hand numbered to gun.

Rating Definition:

Good. The frame has a mixed gray patina with a dark mottled patina on the barrel. Traces of original blue remain on the sides of the barrel flats at the breech. There is some minor pitting on the upper frame. The grips are fine with some minor scratches. The action functions, but needs minor work.
