The half octagon smooth bore barrel gauges at approximately .52 caliber. The top barrel flat is marked "*LAZARINO * COMINAZZO*". The lock is engraved with a warrior with spear and shield ahead of the hammer, a patriotic motif and marked "T. WASIL" behind the hammer. Brass mountings with scroll type engraving, including a decorative thumb shield. The stock has a flared butt, with a decorative buttcap with a woman's bust engraved on the bottom. Brass blade front and barrel tang notch rear sights and wooden ramrod.

Fair. The barrel has a smooth mottled brown patina and the remaining metal surfaces have a smooth mottled gray patina. The brass has an aged patina. The rear ramrod pipe shows some damage. The stock is fair with a large piece absent from the forend, the forend cap and forward pin are also absent. There is a moderate chip ahead of the lock and a large chip on the toe of the stock. There are a couple small chips around the lock and the rear ramrod pipe, lower tang and butt cap are a bit ill-fitting. The markings and engraving are clear. The action is very good.
