Description:

The damascus barrel is marked "LONDON" and the lock plate is marked "T. ATWOOD". The breech end of the barrel has two silver inlaid bands. Floral type engraving featured on the fish hammer, lock, upper tang, and trigger guard. The trigger guard, forend cap, initial shield, ramrod pipes, and cap box are German silver. A belt clip is mounted on the left side of the stock. The stock has checkering on the grip area. Complete with a German silver-tipped, wooden ramrod.

Rating Definition:

Good. The barrel is mostly brown patina with traces of the damascus pattern remaining. The hammer and upper tang have a smooth dark patina with the lock having a mixed patina. The German silver is fine. The revarnished stock has a couple repairs, otherwise good with some minor handling marks and some worn checkering. The belt hook is a professionally made replacement. Action needs work as the hammer does not release properly once the trigger is pulled.
