Description:

1) Silver plaque, with enamel unit logo at the top, and text "COMPANY A./23dREGT.N.G.N.Y./-1906-/CREEDMOOR RIFLE PRACTICE/EXPERT CLASS/-WON BY-/Q.M.SERG'T.G.M.KEESE". "JOHN F RICK/-NY-" on the bottom. Nailed to a wooden backing. 2) Trophy, 12 5/8 inches tall, marked "CAPT.GEORGE BECK/Co.8/N.Y.S.B.No1/JULY 21/1893-1918" on the side and "STERLING/37 21/12 IN" on the bottom. 3) Fancy martial trophy, 10 3/4 inches tall, with dragons on the arms, scroll and zig-zag engraving, a pair of figurines on the midsection, which is supported by rifles, and a beaded rim on the base. The side of the main body is inscribed "1872/Presented/by/LieutColClarke/30thBattln Wellington/Volunteer Militia/To Wm Graham/as the/best shot in the/Battalion".

Rating Definition:

1) Very fine, with a dark, antique patina and mild handling marks. 2) Excellent, with minor handling marks and a mixed aged patina. 3) Very good, with light handling marks and a mixed patina. The figurines are detached from the midsection, and one has a broken rifle.
