Manufactured in 1886. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, the left side is marked "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" in an etched panel and the left side of the frame is marked with the three line, three patent dates. The matching serial number is marked on the frame, trigger guard and back strap. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, all nickel finish and fitted with a smooth one piece walnut grip.

Fine. The revolver retains 50% original nickel finish with a dark brown patina on the balance. The grip is good as lightly covered with a coat of varnish showing some wear and minor dings on the lower edges. The action functions but needs work, the hammer will not hold a full cock position. A large portion of the correct original etched panel is visible, otherwise the markings are clear. This attractive Old West Colt SAA looks like it was just found in an attic!
