According to the included factory letter, this revolver was part of a group shipped to the Simmons Hardware Company of St. Louis, Missouri on October 5, 1895, as part of a 15-arm order. The grips are "Not Listed", with other features matching. Fixed sights, with the two line address on top of the barrel, ".45 COLT." on the left, and the 2 line/3 date patent marking on the frame next to the circled Rampant Colt. Matching numbers on the frame and grip straps, "387" on the loading gate. Two piece checkered grips with Rampant Colt logos.

Refinished, with a cleaned, artificial gray patina overall, with faint markings due to heavy buffing. Grips are good, with smoothing of the checkering and logos, and some minor scuffs and chips. Mechanically very good.
