Manufactured in 1887. The barrel has the one line Hartford address on top and "45 COLT" on the left side. The left side of the trigger guard is marked "45 CAL". The replacement cylinder is numbered (983) to another gun. Fitted with smooth grips.

Very good. The barrel, ejector rod housing and frame retain 20% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The cylinder has a smooth gray patina. There is some minor pitting (mostly on the cylinder). The modern replacement ivory grips are very fine with numerous hairline age cracks. The ivory has a nice grain pattern and an attractive color.
