Manufactured in 1876. Blade front sight and hammer notch rear sight, with the barrel having the two line Hartford address on top flanked by Maltese crosses and the left side of the frame stamped "22 CAL". Seven shot non-fluted cylinder, brass bird head frame, and fitted with smooth grips. Matching serial number on the barrel and butt. Nickel finished with niter blue hammer, spur trigger and screws. Complete with an original two-piece red box with lid label which reads "COLT'S / SEVEN SHOT PISTOL / .22 Caliber / For Long or Short Cartridges", with cleaning rod/screwdriver.

Excellent. The revolver retains 95% plus original nickel finish with some minor flaking mostly on the cylinder and barrel (at the breech), frost mostly contained to the back strap and limited light spotting on the barrel (at the muzzle). The hammer, screws and trigger retain much of the niter blue finish. The grips are excellent with some scattered mild dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. The box is fair.
