Description:

This revolver is a First Model, manufactured in 1874. It features the standard two line Hartford address flanked by Maltese crosses on top of the barrel, the serial number on the underside, and "32 CAL" on the left side of the frame. The matching serial number is marked on the left side of the frame under the grip and the bottom of the barrel. All nickel finish with niter blue trigger. Blade front and frame notch rear sights. Fitted with two-piece smooth pearl grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as period replated. The revolver retains 95% nickel plated finish with minor flaking on the muzzle and scattered light "frosting". There are a few minor dings on the upper edge of the left side of the frame and overall some light scratches and minor handling marks. The grips are excellent with a few minor chips and cracks at the frame juncture, otherwise light handling marks. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is tight and smooth.
