This is a very desirable Colt First Model Woodsman with a Colt-King Super Target Conversion package manufactured in 1930. The conversion consists of milling a slot in top of the slide and frame over the chamber of the barrel. A full length sight adjustable for elevation and windage was added to the slide. A ramped front sight with reflector was added to the barrel. The left side of the ramp is marked "KING". Also a tubular barrel weight was installed underneath the barrel and one can install different weights inside the tube. The front sight blade can be removed and different heights installed. The top of the barrel is marked with the standard Colt two-line address/ patent markings and the side of the receiver and slide have the standard markings. Serrated trigger and two tone Colt marked magazine and fitted with checkered walnut grips. This is a very desirable variation of a Colt Woodsman.

Period refinished with 99% of the blue finish remaining. The grips are very fine with sharp checkering. Clear markings and the action is excellent.
