Manufactured in 1955. The left side of the barrel is marked with the Second Series two line address/patent information, the left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt over "MATCH TARGET", the serial number on the opposite and the left side of the slide is marked "COLT AUTOMATIC/CAL. 22 LONG RIFLE". Pinned ramp front sight and adjustable rear target sight. The top and rear of the slide, barrel, frame and the trigger have a matte finish. Serrated trigger and grip straps, blue Colt marked Second Series magazine, Second Series Magazine catch and fitted with checkered black plastic grips with right hand thumb rest. Complete with an original Colt "wood grain" box with green interior, with manual and cleaning brush.

Excellent plus with 99% plus original blue finish remaining showing only a couple tiny dings and light overall handling marks. The grips are also excellent with a couple small dings on the lower edges and sharp checkering. The markings are clear and crisp. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with broken corners on the lid and overall moderate wear.
