Rating Definition:

The scope is very fine with 85% plus original blue finish remaining with some high edge and normal usage wear, and overall scattered minor scratches. The optics are very fine. The rings are fading to a smooth gray patina. The scope can is very good with scattered chipped paint with some of the exposed metal being bright and some having a smooth brown patina. The exposed metal around the "400" marking has oxidized. A scarce original can for a low turret.
