Metal construction Africa Corps style painted desert tan. The back of the lid is marked "jvd", Wessel & Muller, Luckenwalde, and with an "eagle/WaA542" proof mark. With canvas strap on the back and an original lens brush inside.

Very fine. The can retains 98% original tan paint with some scattered small chips and scratches, and several small areas that have been touched up. Absolute period piece in original condition.
