The Model B3 is another classic hunting gun. The high strength Suhl tilted block breech allows for a rapid second shot. The barrel is fitted with ramped high visibility sights, three dot on the rear sight. The top rear barrel is factory machined for scope mounting, equipped with an extractor, and there is a sling swivel mounted on the bottom barrel. The barrels are a matte blue, with a satin grey frame and trigger guard. The frame is engraved with deer in a wooded scene on the left and wild boars in a wooded scene on the right, with light simple scroll engraving and "MERKEL" on the bottom. Double lock hand cocking system, automatic tang mounted safety, detachable Jager tilted block breech, free floating bottom barrel, adjustable single trigger, and mounted with a nicely figured checkered walnut Schnabel forearm and pistol grip stock with plastic grip cap, Bavarian cheekpiece, hogsback comb, solid recoil pad and sling swivel. Complete with the original box numbered to the gun. This rifle is consecutively serial numbered to another Model B3 in this auction. This gun still has the full factory warranty.
