Single brass bead sight on the concave matte solid rib, 3 inch chambers, choked improved cylinder/modified, with H&H style ejectors. Three line address on the left rear barrel and "147 EL 28 Ga" on the right. The scalloped box lock action is engraved with two pheasants in the wooded scene on the left and three quail in a wooded scene on the right side. The balance has floral scroll engraving with "MERKEL" on the bottom. The engraving extends to the trigger guard, break lever, (with silver inlaid "EL"), and forearm knuckle with decorative simple line and zigzag designs on the forearm release. The left side of the receiver is signed "SH". Double under lugs and Greener cross-bolt, single trigger, with selector, tang mounted safety and mounted with extra fancy multi-point English walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a black plastic Merkel buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/2 inches. Complete with box numbered to the gun. This gun still has the full factory warranty.
