Manufactured in 1951 during the transition period (late 1945 to 1951). Rifle has standard markings including the factory proof on the barrel and receiver. Hooded ramp front sight, rear sight removed (filler block added), receiver peep sight, and receiver tapped for scope mounting. Checkered pistol grip stock with sling swivels and checkered steel buttplate.

Very good as refinished. The rifle retains 60% original blue finish with the balance an artificial touched up smooth brown patina. The revarnished stock is very good with some minor handling marks. Overall the checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
