The lockplate is marked "KETLAND/ & Co", with a pair of flowers engraved on the hammer and screw adjustable double set triggers. Smooth straight wrist stock, with a brass forearm tip, striped hardwood ramrod with brass pipes, brass capped raised cheekpiece with brass starburst inlay, carved scroll designs, a brass buttplate and patchbox.

Good, showing a dark brown finish overall with scattered pitting and handling marks. Stock is also good, with cracking, chips and dents. The toe has been broken and mended. Mechanically needs a mainspring although hammer does engage the trigger.
