Country of origin unknown, possibly French Military. Blade sight, with no visible markings on the barrel or lockplate. Smooth straight wrist stock, with a flat headed iron ramrod, 3 barrel bands and a flat buttplate. With a 14 1/4 inch "C.US" marked socket bayonet.

Good, with a mixed brown and gray patina, with areas of protective varnish, a chip absent from the left rear area of the breech, and some pitting. Stock is fair as cleaned, with dents, scuffs, cracks on the left side and a few small chips. Bayonet is fair, with pitting and cracks. Mechanically needs work.
