This revolver features beautiful factory Class "A" floral scroll engraving with a matte background covering the barrel and lug side, frame, cylinder flats between the flutes and trigger guard. Signed under the cylinder latch by master engraver Tom Freyburger, who worked at Smith & Wesson from the mid60s to the mid-70s. Standard barrel markings in decorative bordered panels, "S&W" on the lower left side of the frame in a raised circle and the four line address on the lower right front of the frame. The sides of the barrel rib and top strap are decorated with a scallop design. Raised ramp front blade sight with red insert, adjustable rear target sight, blue finish with checkered wide target hammer and serrated target trigger, serrated back strap and fitted with smooth varnished walnut grips with S&W medallions. The accompanying factory letter verifies the factory Class "A" engraving. Complete in a Smith & Wesson wooden case with royal blue velvet lining, screwdriver, cleaning rod and bore mop.

Rating Definition:

Near new in case. The case is excellent. Very faint drag line present on cylinder otherwise like new.
