The right side of the buttstock is stamped with an "1861" dated Birmingham cartouche and the underside of the stock is stamped "T. TURNER". Complete with an iron ramrod.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The musketoon has a mottled gray patina. There is even fine pin point pitting on the breech with some minor flash type pitting. The stock is very fine with some chipping near the barrel bands (left side) and along the ramrod channel, a hairline crack on the left flat, and some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
