Manufactured in 1937. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address/1903 and 1918 patent dates, the left side of the frame is marked "THE WOODSMAN", with "COLT AUTOMATIC / CAL..22 LONG RIFLE" followed by the Rampant Colt on the left side of the slide. The serial number is marked on the front strap, "X" on the upper left front of the trigger guard over the Colt triangle "VP" proof and "30" on the opposite. Elevation adjustable blade front and windage adjustable rear sights, two tone Colt Woodsman marked magazine, serrated trigger and fitted with fully checkered custom walnut grips.

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% original blue finish with some mild muzzle and high edge wear. Overall there are a few minor scratches and handling marks. The custom coarse checkered fat grips are also excellent with sharp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
