Description:

8 3/4 inch blade with "Alles fur Deutschland" etched on one side, Eickhorn and RZM "M7/66" markings on the reverse, next to the etched inscription "SA-Skiwettkampf 1936/Schreiberhau" and an illegible signature over "Brigadefuhrer". Roughly translated, it is an award for a ski competition in the German town of Schreiberhau (now Szklarska Poreba), a resort and glassmaking center taken by Poland at the end of World War II. Hardwood grip with eagle and SA inlays, and nickel finished guard and pommel. With a brown enamel painted sheath with nickel fittings.

Rating Definition:

Poor as assembled, with mild handling marks and dents. The sheath appears repainted, with traces on the throat and tip, and a screw absent from the tip.
