Made in 1880 as a Cavalry Model, and later factory/ arsenal overhauled for reissue. Fixed sights, with the one line Italic Hartford address on the barrel and 3-line patents next to "US." on the frame. Ainsworth barrel, numbered "5136" with bolster style ejector housing and crescent head. Clark inspected frame, with "116667/G" trigger guard, "34121" back strap, "R.A.C." grips and "D.F.C./1751" cylinder. Smooth one piece grips.

Refinished, with a mixed artificial brown patina overall, showing some light handling marks. Grips are also refinished and restamped, with mild dents. Mechanically very fine.
