Manufactured in 1905. The number 1 barrel is equipped with blade and adjustable sporting type sights and is stamped on the top flat with the standard two line address marking and "25 R.F." at the breech. The factory letter (included) states that this rifle was originally shipped as a 25/20 octagon barrel. The patent date and serial number are marked on the lower tang. Smooth Schnabel forearm and straight grip stock with crescent buttplate.

Very fine. The rifle retains 90% thinning original blue finish. The remaining metal surfaces retain 80% original case colors. There is some minor pitting on the barrel and receiver. The wood is very fine with some minor handling marks (more prevalent on the forearm) and an area of surface chipping (right side of forearm).
