The top of the receiver is dated 1918 and the front toggle is marked "DWM". The right side of the barrel extension has the three crown proofs next to the Imperial Eagle proof, and the left side has the four digit serial number that matches the frame and underside of the barrel. The bottom of the barrel is also marked with the bore diameter "8,83" and the Imperial Eagle is marked on the upper right rear. The Imperial Eagle is also marked on the left side of the breech block. Visible numbers are matching except the magazine. Correctly marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" on the safety and extractor respectively. The tangent rear sight is graduated from 100-800 meters. The magazine is a correct nickel plated WWI version with a wooden base plate and the pistol is fitted with un-numbered checkered walnut grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 70% slightly faded original blue, with cold blue present on the barrel and front strap/trigger guard. The remainder of the pistol has some edge wear and some minor spotting on the back strap. The small parts have 30% of original straw colors. The takedown lever is slightly bent upward. The grips are also very fine with wear across the tops of the checkering and lower edges. Mechanically fine.
