The left side of the slide has the standard Walther legend with pre-war, commercial "crown/N" proofs on the barrel, chamber, and slide. The front strap is stamped with the NSDAP Gruppe Franken marking: "SA der NSDAP / Gruppe Franken". The serial number is stamped vertically on the right side of the frame. The pistol has the high polished blue finish with checkered Walther banner grips and Walther banner marked magazine with grip extension.

Fine as partially refinished. The pistol retains 85% original blue finish on the barrel the frame with the balance a gray patina and some minor edge wear. The slide is totally refinished with most remaining. There is very scattered and limited pin point pitting with the chamber having an area of discoloration with some light pitting likely caused by a solvent. The grips are excellent with some very scattered minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
