Description:

Introduced in time for the airborne Invasion of Crete, Luftwaffe-Splittermuster 41(Air Force Splinter Pattern, 1941) was an outgrowth of earlier Splinter patterns, with a combination of tan, brown and green polygonal shapes, disrupted with vertical green lines. Fitted with the white thread and grey felt Luftwaffe eagle on the right breast, leather zipper tabs, blue/gray and brown buttons, and the black ink markings "L.B.A. (F) 44", "Gr.2" and "R,B,-Nr./0/0316/1022" on the inside of the left breast.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with some rust on the snaps and mild handling marks overall.
