Blade and tangent sights, with "Crown/ERFURT/ 1917" and three crown/script letter proofs on the receiver ring and "Kar 98." on the left side wall. Matching numbers on the barrel bands, floor plate, trigger guard, bolt and screws. Smooth straight grip stock, with matching number and a flat buttplate. Equipped with a metal muzzle protector.

Very fine, with 75% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, light spotting, bright edge wear and minor scratches and handling marks. Stock is good, with a crack in the right side of the buttstock and dings and scuffs overall. Mechanically very good.
