The top of the receiver ring is marked with the Mauser Banner logo over "1934", the left side is marked with the commercial crown over "B", "U", "G" and "N" proofs along with the early serial number followed by a diamond shape. The receiver side wall has the commercial markings of "MAUSER -WERKE A.G.OBERNDORF A.N." and the left rear of the barrel is marked with the serial number followed by a diamond shape. Correct pre-war walnut stock with finger grooves on the sides with a flat metal buttplate. Early milled components, barrel bands, trigger guard and floor plate. Complete with cleaning rod, black leather sling, and a bayonet with metal sheath. The bayonet has a bright blade and has a Nazi "Eagle/WaA" proof under the right scale.

Very fine, with 60% plus original blue finish, showing a smooth brown and gray patina on the remainder, mild pitting and handling marks. Wood is fine, with a few minor gouges, dings, scratches, and pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
